Bruce is a Seattle native who began producing Baseball Mexico in August 2009. He covered Mexican baseball with "Viva Beisbol" between 2005 and 2007. Bruce has broadcast college and high school sports play-by-play and covered pro soccer and the NFL Pro Bowl on radio; written for national publications about baseball, hockey, and auto racing; and served as public relations director for a number of hockey and football teams plus a sprint car race track at which NASCAR star Kasey Kahne began racing as a teen. Bruce and his wife Linda live midway between Seattle and Portlan.
